    My beloved can not sit still and has been forcing herself to knit. I'm cool just watching TV until my eyes fall out, but she can't do that, and the knitting has won out as a compromise.

    I'd been wondering what other people's home remedies were.

    One of my grandmothers was a smoker for as long as I knew her - but we could watch the cigarette burn down to nothing, unattended in the ashtray, whenever she got really into crocheting an afghan.
